My oh my, it has been quite some time since I’ve posted a wedding. I’ve got so much to share with you all over the next few weeks, starting with April and Gordie. I had my first gig as a second shooter a few weekends ago with the lovely Abbey Moore. We spent the weekend exploring Frankenmuth and Bay City and having a ball with this wonderful couple. My mantra to brides and grooms on their wedding day is to slow down, look around, and realize they are there, they are at their own wedding. April and Gordie needed no reminding, they soaked in every moment of their day. You could tell by the way they looked at each other that they were at ease, that they were so happy. That kind of joy can show through photographs, it’s why I love to do what I do.
